Sally Laverty
About me

I qualified from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 2001. Over the past 15 years I have worked for the NHS in large London teaching hospitals as well as in private practice. I have experience in orthopaedic rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, pain management and the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Since having my own family I have developed a special interest in the area of women’s health and specifically the management of post natal ladies. I have recently completed training with an internationally renowned practitioner in London and am very proud to offer the Mummy MOT. You can find more details about this service on the relevant page.

What do I treat?

I treat most musculoskeletal problems including low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, tennis elbow and knee and hip pain. I also see patients who have had orthopaedic surgery as well as working with some local sports teams to get their players back on the pitch after injury.

Treatments

I believe very strongly in using an evidence based approach to treatment. This means that I use the latest research to inform my treatments and ensure that my patients get the best value for money and the optimal chance of recovery. Treatment is always a two way process. Physiotherapy is something you ‘do’ not something you ‘have’!

Don’t just take my word for it! See how Balance has helped these
wonderful people unlock their physical potential.
